The Royal Mail has released details of their upcoming souvenir Stamp bundle celebrating classic UK-designed video games from the 1980s and ’90s.
The set includes stamps from some of our most favourite titles including Worms, Sensible Soccer and Lemmings.
The bundle contains all eight Special Stamps and the Tomb Raider Miniature Sheet. Hotshot player and acclaimed journalist Julian ‘Jaz’ Rignall recalls the characters, graphics and challenges that made these games so popular.
In the fallout from Christmas and the recent purchase of a mint Amiga CD32, it’s hard to justify £45 on 8 stamps, but these are not likely to be seen again and will make a great addition to any UK collectors mantle. In the words of Fry… shut up and take my money.
