I am delighted to confirm that the Stamford & Peterborough Amiga Group’s inaugural meet absolutely smashed all my expectations. After days of planning, setup, website building and promotion I’m absolutely over the moon with the support from my fellow Amiga enthusiasts.
With 12 members attending for a night of Amigas, music, exclusive games and refreshments it made for an epic event. We hosted some absolutely stunning machines including a beautiful custom A4000, checkmate 1200, old-school modded Amiga 500 and clean AF 600. Also in attendance were my Plexi500, black 1200, CDTV and Amiga mini. We were also humbled by the attendance of James from Amiga Addict magazine
We’re honestly overwhelmed by the support from everyone with some travelling hours to attend!
I’d like to give an extra special thank you to some legendary Amiga developers for their support, with 4 massive exclusives on the table for the lucky attendees made for a very special experience. These included playable versions of the following monster games
- 1942 Beta from RetroDNA
- R/DECLAN Alpha Preveiw from Nivrig Games
- Cecconoid Beta from h0ffman
- Devils Temple Prerrelease from McGeezer (available here)
Following the success of the first SPAG (SPAG 1: SPAG BALL) we’re already planning SPAG 2 for the new year. Watch this space.
Be sure to check our SPAG on the our website, Facebook page or Discord Server
Thanks again to all that attended and Long Live the Amiga.
